Today is a great podcast with John Gutentag, Data Analyst, Enverus, and we talk about the Inflation Reduction Act, taxes, and its implications for consumers. The bill’s name is “The Inflation Reduction Act”‘s humor is not lost on me. Legislation that does nothing that it is named for is great fun.
That is why we need companies like Enverus to decipher the legislation and market data to provide a meaningful path for decision-makers in the energy space.
John also provides some great information on the ESG landscape. The ESG movement has had some positive and negative impacts. You can’t have ESG without accountability, and John covers some critical issues on scoring and data points. Enverus is getting in front of the accountability portion of ESG and will help the entire energy market through data and reporting. That data helps companies with their ability to be accountable.
