ETEnergyworld confers 30 awards to energy sector leaders, companies for best performance

The Awards ceremony was a grand extravaganza which witnessed participation from the top names of the global and the domestic energy industry.New Delhi:ETEnergyworldhonoured leaders in the energy sector, including both individuals and companies, for their outstanding contributions with 30 awards conferred under 14 categories under its unique and exclusive initiative The Economic TimesEnergy Leadership Awards2022.

The Awards ceremony — a grand extravaganza which witnessed participation from the top names of the global and the domestic energy industry — concluded here on Thursday at the Hyatt Regency hotel with a packed gathering of audience congratulating the winners.

“The ET Energy Leadership Awards 2022 was an exercise to try and identify the Energy Personalities of the Year, the Chief Executives of the Year, the Energy Woman of the Year, and also companies who are engaged as startups, equipment manufacturers, storage companies, research entities under many categories related to the energy sector,” said Anil Razdan, a veteran of the energy sector and the Chairman of the Awards Jury.

The Chief Executive of the Year award in the non-renewable category was bagged byPratik Pravin Agarwal, Managing Director,Sterlite Power Transmissionwhile the winner in the renewable energy category was given toSumant Sinha, Chairman and CEO,ReNew Power.

The Energy Woman of the Year award went to ONGC Chairman Alka Mittal in the Non-Renewable category, ReNew Power’s Chief Sustainability Officer Vaishali Sinha in the Renewable category and Hitachi Energy’s Principal Technical Consultant Shivani Sharma.

The Energy Transition Award went to Gail (India) in the Non-Renewable category and IOT Biogas in the Renewable category. Gujarat Gas bagged the Star PSU Award while ONGC stood as a Runner Up in the category.

The Energy Company of the Year Award went to four companies AG&P Pratham, ONGC, Punjab Renewable Energy Systems, and Indian Oil under the Non-renewable – Small Cap, Non-renewable – Large Cap, Renewable – Small Cap, and Renewable – Large Cap categories, respectively.

The Energy EPC Company of the year Award went to Technip Energies India while Prozeal Infra Engineering stood the Runner Up. The Best Energy Startup Award was bagged by Indian Gas Exchange in the Non-Renewable category and Log9 materials in the Renewable category.

Vimal Fire Controls and Genus Power Infrastructure bagged the Equipment Manufacturers Award in the Non-Renewable and Renewable categories, respectively. Charge CCCV LLC received the award under the Best Research Institute category while Fluentgrid Ltd stood the Runner-Up.

The Awards honoured L&T as the Energy Storage Player of the Year while the Clean Mobility Award went to Log9 Materials. Micelio Mobility was the RunnerUp in the category. The social Changemakers Award went to ReNew Power while Vedanta was the RunnerUp.

The Employee Safety Award went to Indian Oiltanking while Jindal Power was the Runnerup. Tata Consulting Engineers bagged the Energy projects in International Markets award.
