Sukla Mistry has taken over as director (refineries) of Indian Oil

Mistry will lead the business and operations of nine refineries and petrochemical plants of Indian Oil, which has 80.55 million tonnes per annum of refining capacity. She is the first woman to ever lead a refinery unit in Indian Oil.

New Delhi:Sukla Mistryhas taken over as director (refineries) ofIndian Oilin the first elevation for a woman in an executive role to the board of the nation’s largest refiner and fossil fuel retailer.

Mistry will lead the business and operations of nine refineries and petrochemical plants of Indian Oil, which has 80.55 million tonnes per annum of refining capacity. She is the first woman to ever lead a refinery unit in Indian Oil.

A metallurgical engineer from Bengal Engineering College, Calcutta University, Mistry has over 35 years of experience in refining and petrochemicals.
