According to the detailed list shared by the ministry as on 18 August 2022, there are now 66 module manufacturers enlisted under ALMM.
The updated list includes Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments with 23 MW capacity, Neety Euro Asia Solar Energy with 28 MW, Shivam Photovoltaics with 30 MW, Sahaj Solar with 100 MW, Raajratna Ventures with 96 MW.
Apart from the above players,WaareeEnergies, RenewSys India, andMundra Solaradded new modules to the updated list and their capacities stood at 2650 MW, 487 MW, and 562 MW, respectively.
The government had earlier notified that only the manufacturers and approved modules contained in the ALMM list will be eligible for use in government projects, schemes, and projects bid-out on or after 10 April 2021.
