Jaipur:RajasthanRenewableEnergy Corporation Ltd (RRECL) andTehri Hydro Development Corporation(THDC) inked an agreement to set up 10,000-megawattsolar powerpark in Rajasthan.
ACS Energy and CMD RRECL Subodh Agarwal who was in Rishikesh to ink the agreement said that the development of the park will create 10,000 direct jobs.
Agarwal said that Rajasthan has added record 3,000 MW capacity of solar energy in the last financial year, while in the past three years, the capacity increased by 6552 MW in the state.
Rajeev Bishnoi, CMD of THDCIL, said the agreement will add further impetus to achieving the national targets for solar power.
